PMX

Our school uses ParentMail X (PMX) to communicate electronically with parents via email (and sometimes via text).  This service is invaluable as it allows us to send reminders and letters regarding important events.  We also use PMX for on-line payments to enable you to pay for educational visits, clubs, PTA events etc. 

We will use the email address you provided on your admission form as the main parentmail contact address.  If you would like other email addresses added (for example if both parents want to receive all emails) please contact the school office.

The benefits to this are that we have more Apps to use, meaning we can use PMX to send home Parents’ Evening bookings, absence reporting and on-line surveys/questionnaires. 

For parents, this latest version of PMX means you can easily pick up school messages on your smartphone by downloading the free PMX App on Android or iOS. Other benefits include:

• Access to PMX even when there’s no network connection.
• No need to search through your busy personal inbox for school messages.
• Instant access – no need to login to complete forms or read messages.
• In app ‘notifications’ help make sure things don’t get missed or forgotten.
• Helps preserve your data allowance.

To start using parentmail X you will need to verify your account by following the instructions provided below. If you have both a mobile number and an email address registered on your account, you will receive a registration invitation by text or email. You can register either way – but will only need to register once.

Mobile registration:

Please click on the link from the text message and follow the verification process. You will be asked to enter some details, answer a security question to verify who you are and to set a password for your account.

Email Registration:

Please click on the link from the email and follow the verification process. As above, you will be asked to enter some details, answer a security question to verify who you are and to set a password for your account.

Please be assured that ParentMail is registered with the Information Commissioner and guarantees that all information you provide will be kept private and will not be passed on to any other organisation.

Guidance on how to pay for items via pmx

Payment via laptop/desktop:

Enter the pmx system using your log-in details

Click payments on the left. 

Enter the ‘shop’ to view items available to pay

Find the item you wish to pay for and click on it and add your basket

Either continue shopping or click ‘pay now’ to go to the check-out screen

Note:  You can view your basket at any time by clicking the basket icon in the top right hand corner. This will display the items you have added so far.

Paying via the pmx app: 

Ensure the app has been downloaded onto your smartphone

Enter the app

Enter payments on the left

Enter the ‘shop’ to find individual clubs/items

Click on the desired item/club and ‘add to basket’

Either continue shopping or click ‘pay now’ to check out

Note:  You can view your basket at any time by clicking the basket icon.  This will display the items you have added so far.
